![]() ![]() If anything, the main weak point of the game itself is that it doesn’t do more with its intriguing world-building. That strong, unique premise and sound execution of the fundamentals makes Airborne Kingdom a good entry in the simulation genre. Oh, and nabbing resources from the ground as you go. You’re on a road trip with your floating city, meeting others and trying to complete missions to recruit more people to your cause. The kingdom you are building is airborne, and it’s not stationary by any means. Airborne Kingdom has a very strong gimmick, however. But taken as a basic sim, it hangs together nicely. It’s a little simplified in some respects, as your denizens will automatically assign themselves to various jobs. And it does those things as well as you could hope with a console interface. Gather resources, build your kingdom, and research new technologies that will give you access to even more stuff. In most ways, Airborne Kingdom is a very typical simulation game. Let’s get going!
